You’ve finally found the courage to set up a counseling appointment. You’ve overcome the urge to call and cancel, and you’ve become exhausted at overthinking all of the reasons why you don’t actually need to come. Today is the day for your appointment and nerves are boiling up, but you’ve committed. You are going to at least try. Yes, today is the day you are going to lift your head to catch that soft, gentle breeze of hope.
I love the moment that a client is sorting through their story and they finally see themselves differently - these moments are why I do what I do. I will walk with you as you learn to read your story with a different lens, so to speak. Maybe you are living life with the lens that says “I have to be perfect”, and any failures send the message that you are somehow “inadequate”. Maybe you are living life with the lens that says “I’ll never be enough”, “It is my fault”, or “I’ll never get over this”. Whatever your lenses may be, I am passionate about working with you to understand where those lenses came from and how to replace them with new ones that are truthful, and accurately reflect your value, strengths, and the situation.
"If we share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.
– Brene Brown"
I will work with you to find tangible ways to create meaningful change in your life and feel stronger in your decisions, relationships, and faith.
If you’re interested in becoming a better, happier, more fulfilled you, I’d love to work with you every step of the way.

Places to Get Started
Do you ever feel like it takes every ounce of strength you have just to make it through the day? Maybe you are a teen or young adult trying to hold it all together on the outside but are feeling discouraged and hopeless on the inside. Maybe you are a woman with little ones and are overwhelmed with all of the "shoulds" and emotional ups and downs. Or maybe you are a woman struggling with grief, recovering from a traumatic event, or are just tired of feeling like you are merely "surviving". Whatever you are walking through, you don't have to do it alone.
